Independent evaluation of mobile cranes and other cranes

We regularly inspect mobile cranes from Liebherr, Tadano-Faun, Grove, Terex and Demag. Furthermore, we have experience in the inspection of cranes on trucks and also with all-terrain cranes up to 500 tons lifting capacity.

Our technician tests the main functions with the crane operator and documents everything in the inspection report. All crane components are checked for any weak points and damage, the LMB is tested and the slewing ring clearance is measured. Before purchasing a second-hand mobile crane, it is advisable to carry out a thorough technical inspection. We at MEVAS will be happy to do this for you. Using a standardised procedure, our experienced technicians check all components of the crane in detail and document this. Part of the technical inspection is a functional test during which, with the help of a crane operator, the LNB is tested and the slewing ring play is measured, the hydraulic cylinders are fully extended and checked for any defects.
